The ultimate competition for cannabis enthusiast to showcase their expertise
BOTB gamifies cannabis education into a competitive platform open to both budtenders and non-budtenders over 21 years old. Participants engage in a series of questions designed to test their proficiency in various aspects of the cannabis industry. These questions include categorizing strains, the history of cannabis, the biology of the plant, cannabinoids, its medicinal properties and other fascinating aspects of cannabis. The competition fosters a spirit of competitiveness and learning, encouraging participants to elevate their skills and share their expertise with their peers.
Players have the choice of playing live at one of our BOTB events, or at home. You have up to a 1 minute and a half to complete each round. Now there's 5 rounds with a 2-minute break between each round, 10 questions per round. Players must finish in the top 50% to advance to the next round. The top two players from the 4th round advance to the final round. The winner receives a cash prize and the BUD MASTER Championship belt.
The 2nd Battle of the Budtender Competition entry fee is free. We experienced an issue with our online registration and payment processing. It seems there's an issue with our type of business, (cannabis) even though we don't sell cannabis. We are working hard and fast to fix the issue. At the moment we can not accept payment for tickets. But the show must go on, we will reimburse everyone who entered and allow everyone to compete for free. The cash prize will be $500.00 and the Bud Master belt.
